Official assistance in Metro4All

02.03.2015

We receive a lot of requests to make it possible to ask for official assistance directly from metro. A new version of our mobile app allows you to get in touch with metro administration fast and easy.

In order to see information about a subway service which provides assistance to passengers with reduced mobility in your city, select “My mobility requirements” in app menu and press “Official assistance” button (prior to that don’t forget to update data for your city). If such service exists, our app will show its contact details, working hours, etc. You can make a call straight from the application.

For now the app provides info about official assistance services in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Minsk subways.

We collected this information ourselves using open sources. If you’ve got additional or updated info on this topic please send it to us.

You can read the same information in our web app on the project website.

Another major change of the new version of mobile application – more distinct separation of accessibility data. Now the information about barriers in the route and on station layouts is shown only when the Mobility requirements mode is switched on.
